[Outfit Post] : Gravity ♥

John and I are movie geeks. We always try to catch a movie every week. I believe we are not that hard to please when it comes to movies, after all, we do not watch them to write reviews. We went there to bond and enjoy ourselves right? :) Nonetheless, there are indeed those movies that made us laugh really hard or made us grasp each other's hands tightly because of suspense, but the adrenaline rush will soon fade out when we get home. In short, uhm, forgettable :p On our list, there is only one movie whose effect is still strong: The Avengers. We do not have a runner up yet. Until today, when we watched Sandra Bullock and George Clooney's GRAVITY. Or well, it's rank is 1.5 on my list now. I'm not quite sure about John though :) I'm not very good in writing reviews so I'm leaving that job to the real reviewers. All I can say is that you have to watch it! It was excellent, superb, glorious! It deserves an Oscar Best Picture and Sandra, the best actress. And because the effect is still burning inside my veins, here's an outfit post entitled after my now-favorite movie. Hope you like it!

[Style Files] : Albert Velasco x Men's Fashion

Truth be told, I am somehow indifferent with Men's Fashion. Except, of course, with my boyfriend's style as I wish him to look at his best whenever we go out. Other than that, I do not give much attention to what they wear. If one looks good and decent, I believe one glance and an acknowledgement should suffice. 

Last weekend though, one of my closest friends wanted to create a LookBook profile out of the blue. I believed it was a good idea as I am completely aware that he is one style-maniac as I am. I therefore encouraged him to do a brief outfit shoot in the office during our afternoon break. Kindly scroll down and check out the photos :)

From my Pseudo-stylish perspective, I say his style is Street Lax. He is always on denim pants and loafers, matched with a statement Tee and a branded bag. His signature day-to-night style staples likewise comprises of a watch and a leather cuff. I say, whatever ensemble he has on, it definitely looks comfortable, subtle but still screams "Style". I believe he is one of the most fashionable men in our office. *wink*

It was funny how he kept saying he was nervous and shy prior to the sudden shoot, but he was able to nail these signature blogger poses in one go! I think I'm seeing another future style blogger here :) What do you think?

Hello World! Oh how glad am I to be back to my beloved blogosphere! After 4(?) months of hiatus, I can finally return to regular blogging (which is once every week lol!). And because I am exultantly welcoming myself back here, I decided to put on an uber colorful number. Err, come to think about it though, I guess I'm always the walking color wheel so, nothing's new I guess? haha! Despite the rainy weather, I donned over a get up that is perfect for summer! Hot Pink, sweet Lavender and Aquamarine in one ensemble? I mean come on! How can these colors not cheer you up? :D

Speaking of sexy, don't you think this racer back top in its sheer glory is one hot spectacle? Honestly, it took me a lot of courage to take off my blazer, what with those eyes around me while you're projecting poses in a public place? haha! However, I couldn't bear to just hide this top underneath. It's too lovely and it's in Lavender too, one of my fave fave pastel shades! Let your eyes burn for a bit pretty please? :p

I believe it's quite absurd how I, who live and breathe colors, do not have a single lavender top in my closet!!! Thank goodness I crossed paths with DSDRTM shop on Instagram! I swear, it's one of my favorite and most visited online shops in IG. Aside from the enticingly low price for such up-to-date pieces, their selection is super feminine and sweet, it gives you toothache! First of all, allow me to share my semi-depression over the loss of my beloved long, black locks. After years of wearing long hair, I finally mustered up the courage to have it cut to as short as an inch below my ear! Heck, I thought about it really hard for one week. What made me decide on this? I don't have a concrete answer, honestly. I love my hair so much but I felt that there's something in me that I need to change. Anyway, when I saw the final product, I knew it wasn't half as bad. In fact, I liked it, especially that I also dyed it in copper blonde lol. I hope you won't see it bad either hehe :p

Anyway, enough of sentiments. Let me share to you what I wore today. Perhaps you were thinking that you've already seen this top somewhere in my blog. Yep! This is actually a skirt worn as a tube top. Related post here. I love how you can wear skirts as tube tops and vice versa! And I love how one's style could be so broad and free! You can wear it alone as it is, or you can throw over a blazer or in my case, a military jacket to turn the whole look into a full 360 degrees!

See this lovely bag? Aside from its fun colors and unique structure, it's very versatile too! It comes with 2 straps where you can use it as backpack and a sling bag at the same time! [Outfit Post]: Saturdate with BFF :D

I can't believe I blogged only TWICE within the month of August. I'm such a lousy blogger! *cry cry*. Anyway, a super late post is still better than nothing. So for today, my bff Shane and I went out to watch the movie "The Mortal Instruments". We both share quite an interest with sci-fi/fantasy books and films especially when vampires, werewolves, demons and angels are concerned. Note, however, that this interest rooted from way way back through our elementary years. It had nothing to do with Edward Cullen! Haha It's sad though that vampire books and movies had been trending in the recent years that it has become so overrated. The Mortal Instruments immediately caught our attention because the trailer was good. It was rather disappointing though that throughout the story, it has become another "Twilight" movie. My apologies to Twilight Saga fans out there. I also used to be a fan and these are just my personal thoughts. :) Anyway, allow me to share with you my #ootd.
