[Outfit Post]: Candy Wonderland ♥♥♥ and then some.. :p

"Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up." - Allen Klein

*DISCLAIMER : This post is super bombarded with photos*

Hello beautiful, fabulous readers! I sincerely hope that you are having an amazing day, or night :) As for me, I had a wonderful weekend! Please allow me to share it with you through this photo-heavy post, and let the pictures speak for themselves.

So for today, John and I strolled along at our favorite mall in Quezon City and we were too early, perhaps just a few minutes when the mall opened so there weren't a lot of people yet. I took the opportunity to take these outfit shots at the garden, far from the crowd. Yeah, you can say I'm still a bit shy posing here and there amidst many people. I was so happy with the outcome of these shots and I definitely loved the backdrop! It was quite HOT though! I guess you can tell how glaringly bright the sun is, burning my scalp. Oh, the things I would do for this blog haha :p Oh anyway, I've blabbered many times how I love Summer because I could flaunt all the loud colors I have inside my closet. Here's another ensemble made of bright sunlight, blue skies and pretty blooms! Welcome to Candy Wonderland! Hope you love it! ^___^

On a totally unrelated note, are you girls familiar with this Korean song "Gwiyomi"? Versions of its video had been flooding all over my Facebook news feed and I find it cute, too cute actually. But since it's getting viral, I made an incomplete photo version of it. (I actually have a video of it too, but I'm not posting it here lol!)

But wait, there's more! John also has his OOTD too :D

After a fun photoshoot, we watched "Oblivion". Sad to say, I didn't really like it except for Tom Cruise. So I guess I wouldn't be talking about it. We went straight to Cocina Juan! Our favorite restaurant at Maginhawa Street in UP Village. I've actually blogged about them twice and I wouldn't get tired sharing their good eats with you, once more. Chicken Pita Pizza and Churrazco de Guatemala for the win!!!

That's it! Thank you so much for your time ladies. Need to rest now as my back really hurts. Ugh! Signs of ageing.. :'(

Going Back to Cocina Juan ♥♥

It's official, Cocina Juan is undeniably my and John's favorite-st restaurant of all time! With the Pita pizza alone, oh we can definitely live there! I'd cut any narrations short so you can just feast your eyes on these yummy treats!

very artsy don't you agree? I enjoy scrutinizing these paintings that lined up at either sides of the wall :)

We got complementary nachos for that specific dish we ordered, scroll down! ♥
look how John savors the nachos ;p Nachos pa lang yan! lol
And here's our delicious dish! Churrasco de Nicaragua! It's an entire platter of various kebabs and side dishes! We shared on this platter as it looked like it was good for 2 persons anyway.

I kept wondering what those crunchy garnish were. It tasted like Picnik though

this veggie salad was heaven! very fresh, very rich in taste, definitely gave major character into the entire dish ♥

And you thought we forgot the Pizza? Hell no!

I swear, we can go there week after week and we'll never have enough. It's a must try for all foodie adventurers out there!

Pizzarito! at ROC ♥

It appears that we couldn't just get enough of the great eats along UP and Maginhawa St., that we ended up at UP (yet again) for our lunch date. From SM North Edsa, we took a cab to get to the place since we were not too familiar with the buildings within UP Diliman Campus. I didn't realize though that this idea was going to be worse than having to walk and personally ask from passersby for the location because we went around in circles for almost 30 minutes, while manong driver kept going out of the car to ask where Magsaysay street was. *weird*. Anyway, after so much hullabaloo, we finally reached the Bahay ng Alumni building and we were so excited that we already forgot how irritated we were becoming. We spent our hefty lunch at ROC (Restaurant of Choice). Honestly, I loved the ambiance of the place. It was very cozy for a sweet date ;p

I was sad that I didn't get to have some outfit shots so these will do :p

And this is where the title came from! John turned the Pizza into a Burrito since he's been craving for so long.

Right after we've had a scrumptious lunch, we headed again to SM North to catch Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. My thoughts on the movie, well, except from the flying guts and blood spills, I loved it! It was so cool, the fight scenes were awesome as usual, and I loved Gretel for being so epic!

Needless to say, my day was, as always, a blast! And I'm quite excited for tomorrow's foodie adventure (again! yey!) with my family. I'm taking them to Cocina Juan tomorrow in celebration of my parents' 27th wedding anniversary. I'll end this post here for now so that I can photo bomb tomorrow! :D

Good night gals~
