Outfit Post: Minty Fresh!

"It was a splendid summer morning and it seemed as if nothing could go wrong."
~John Cheever

Have you awaken to a morning where you smell the air is freshest? Or the sun at its brightest? Your bed at its softest and your sleep, the sweetest? Have you awaken to a morning where you felt it was the best? That dark clouds do not exist and all you can think of is the bright blue skies, the cozy, familiar faces of your friends, the aroma of a toasting butter bread, your favorite movie now showing, the best day has come. Everyday, you meet new faces, go to new places and face new challenges. But you stand up straight, chin up, eyes smiling. Nothing can ever bring you down. It was the best day! Sounds like quotes about being happy and hopeful? lol

Because I feel so happy and young today, I got so inspired to dress up and look my best (and youngest). So I went for a sweet, all mint look perfect in refreshing our humid Summer days and humid moods for that matter. Aside from the fact that I am overflowing with happy hormones, I also came up with this outfit with the "simple Ulzzang / Kawaii" Asian girls/ K-Pop Idols in casual outfit in mind. A Peter Pan collared top and a dainty skater skirt both in Mint Green plus lavender socks in heels? Doesn't this remind you of Asian or anime school girls, like Sailor Moon? lol.
Despite my age, I'm 27 years old by the way, I don't mind wearing outfits that look years and years younger than me. It actually felt good wearing a semi-little girl's ensemble in such a youthful shade.  Don't you think this is such a cute Summer outfit perfect for young girls and the young at heart alike? Can't decide on what to wear to a romantic date? Or how to be fashionable in the office? Try this look! This ensemble is versatile enough  to rock both occasions, well, less the socks in the office of course! What to wear to the malls or to a stroll in the park? Take the heels off and switch into a comfy pair of flats or sandals and you're good to go! *wink*

[Outfit Post] : Summer Sunshine

"In the heat of summer sunshine
I miss you like nobody else
In the heat of summer sunshine
I kiss you, and nobody needs to know"

Today, Wednesday, is my day off from work. And I just could not believe how hot it is I'm almost baking my skin into a crisp inside my room! Just last week, I was still cuddling with a fleece blanket because it was sickly cold and in a matter of days, the temperature rose like crazy! I hate you global warming :/ Can't you make up your mind? But anyway, Summer is just around the corner so perhaps I'll just take it that she came in a lot earlier than expected. Way too early though! So I'm taking all my tank tops and mini dresses (in all sorts of shades) out of my closet now, together with my bikinis! Woohoo! I can't wait to get to a beach lol. For now, let me share to you a Summer-ready outfit in the sunniest color ever.

If you can recall, I bought this dress from this shop which I wrote a negative review about. But I'm still wearing this since I love it. I dislike the shop, not the product lol. The sleeve and back details are just too pretty to hate and the silhouette is very flattering. I want this dress to be on the limelight today so I wore just a simple necklace. What do you think girls? :)

I would love to know what you think of this outfit! Share your thoughts please ^_^

[Outfit Post]: Happy Birthday to me!

"The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate".

~Oprah Winfrey

Today, I turned 27 years old. Too many things come into mind, one trying to be more important than the other. At times I feel I have exhausted myself too much from thinking about my life, evaluating, judging, concluding. But today, I resolve to take a deep breath, exhale and rest. I will be happy today. Today is my day and I will enjoy it :-)

[Outfit Post]: Candy Wonderland ♥♥♥ and then some.. :p

"Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up." - Allen Klein

*DISCLAIMER : This post is super bombarded with photos*

Hello beautiful, fabulous readers! I sincerely hope that you are having an amazing day, or night :) As for me, I had a wonderful weekend! Please allow me to share it with you through this photo-heavy post, and let the pictures speak for themselves.

So for today, John and I strolled along at our favorite mall in Quezon City and we were too early, perhaps just a few minutes when the mall opened so there weren't a lot of people yet. I took the opportunity to take these outfit shots at the garden, far from the crowd. Yeah, you can say I'm still a bit shy posing here and there amidst many people. I was so happy with the outcome of these shots and I definitely loved the backdrop! It was quite HOT though! I guess you can tell how glaringly bright the sun is, burning my scalp. Oh, the things I would do for this blog haha :p Oh anyway, I've blabbered many times how I love Summer because I could flaunt all the loud colors I have inside my closet. Here's another ensemble made of bright sunlight, blue skies and pretty blooms! Welcome to Candy Wonderland! Hope you love it! ^___^

On a totally unrelated note, are you girls familiar with this Korean song "Gwiyomi"? Versions of its video had been flooding all over my Facebook news feed and I find it cute, too cute actually. But since it's getting viral, I made an incomplete photo version of it. (I actually have a video of it too, but I'm not posting it here lol!)

But wait, there's more! John also has his OOTD too :D

After a fun photoshoot, we watched "Oblivion". Sad to say, I didn't really like it except for Tom Cruise. So I guess I wouldn't be talking about it. We went straight to Cocina Juan! Our favorite restaurant at Maginhawa Street in UP Village. I've actually blogged about them twice and I wouldn't get tired sharing their good eats with you, once more. Chicken Pita Pizza and Churrazco de Guatemala for the win!!!

That's it! Thank you so much for your time ladies. Need to rest now as my back really hurts. Ugh! Signs of ageing.. :'(

Chiao gals~
TFG ♥
