[Outfit Post]: Viridian Chic ♥♥♥

Come to think of it, I was never in sync with the trends. The mullet and peplum skirts fad had been in the lime light for, what, a year ago? And I was just getting myself some of it pretty recently. It's not that big a deal to me though, but nonetheless, I'm quite happy that for once, I got myself this particular piece, also in the color which is definitely and currently in the hot seat: Skater Skirt in Mint Green! 

I particularly love flowy skirts since they instantly inject that much needed sweetness and femininity to your look. I guess you're all quite used to my very colorful outfits, yes? This time though, I wanted to be subtle. I opted to accessorize less as I had to make this skirt the highlight of the entire look. No color-blocking nor print on print for now! :)

With skirts like this, don't you think it's really necessary to twirl? :p

Hello beautiful, fabulous readers! I sincerely hope that you are having an amazing day, or night :) As for me, I had a wonderful weekend! Please allow me to share it with you through this photo-heavy post, and let the pictures speak for themselves.

So for today, John and I strolled along at our favorite mall in Quezon City and we were too early, perhaps just a few minutes when the mall opened so there weren't a lot of people yet. I took the opportunity to take these outfit shots at the garden, far from the crowd. Yeah, you can say I'm still a bit shy posing here and there amidst many people. I was so happy with the outcome of these shots and I definitely loved the backdrop! It was quite HOT though! I guess you can tell how glaringly bright the sun is, burning my scalp. Oh, the things I would do for this blog haha :p Oh anyway, I've blabbered many times how I love Summer because I could flaunt all the loud colors I have inside my closet. But since it's getting viral, I made an incomplete photo version of it. (I actually have a video of it too, but I'm not posting it here lol!)

After a fun photoshoot, we watched "Oblivion". Sad to say, I didn't really like it except for Tom Cruise. So I guess I wouldn't be talking about it. We went straight to Cocina Juan! Our favorite restaurant at Maginhawa Street in UP Village. I've actually blogged about them twice and I wouldn't get tired sharing their good eats with you, once more. Chicken Pita Pizza and Churrazco de Guatemala for the win!!!

[Outfit Post]: Psychedelic Summer ♥♥♥

Please excuse me but I've been looking for an avenue to vent out all the heat that has been curdling up within my body and all the veins inside my head are screaming already: IT'S SO !@#$%^&*&^%$#@ HOOOOT!!!

LOL. I just have this love-hate relationship with Summer. I love Summer because it meant going to the beach and shopping for new swimsuits, neons! pastels! colors and more colors :D Yeah, I love Summer like that. Then again, my gahd!! I feel so sticky already. gross huh? I've spent almost the entire day at the mall just so I can escape this heat that's been driving everybody insane here in Manila :(  Oh well, I guess I just have to live with that and try my best to transform this insanity into something more enjoyable for me: Summer Dressing!

So here's what I wore earlier today. You want colors? I'll give you colors *wink wink*

My friends always tell me that my outfits are so colorful and that only I can nail it. How I love hearing those compliments! I've always believed that colors can make someone look and feel young and happy! Perhaps vibrant shades naturally radiate happy thoughts as well. #justsaying. So I guess happier thoughts will come from my mixture of this colorful abstract top plus the pastel floral prints of my pants. And since the colors on my ensemble are too loud already, I decided to tone it down a little and opted for simple accessories. My nails are likewise screaming Summer, yes? :)

John and I went to a nearby park right after we got tired of strolling at the mall. And since it's Easter Sunday, they put up a mini carnival in line with the Holy Celebration. We tried different rides and finished the stint off with a fish spa. It's sad that we were not allowed to take photos during the activities. Oh well, we'll be sure to sneak in next time hehe :D

Simple Joys ♥♥♥

I always look forward to weekends because those are the only times that John and I would be together. And when we do, we never run out of things to do, to talk about. Sometimes, you just ought to just look into each other's pool of eyes and smile, and fall in love more and more each second. Cheezy, right? But those simplest of things, the most nonsense things, mean too unbearably much. ♥
