Hello dear beautiful people! Pardon my sudden and extended absence from the blogosphere as I had to attend to (too many) problems. Nevertheless, I am more than pleased to be back posing in front of my good camera and writing again. On a different note, let me inform you that I will soon be migrating my blog to my very own domain, after almost 2 years. I believe it is a good step to take although I still have some degrees of anxiety about what-nots, being a first timer. Then again, as I have an IT genius for a brother, I know I am in good hands. I do hope you will watch out for it!
So moving on to this outfit I'm wearing for my "come back". One of the trends I am very much unaquainted with is the "Boho/Bohemian" style. Despite the fact that I am quite fond of fringed leather bags, straw/fedora hats and crochet/knitted tops, I never attempted to wear them altogether and flaunt a full Bohemian look. I honestly don't know why I have evaded it for long but I guess this is the time to give it a try. I was looking for chiffon off shoulder tops for the longest time and though I have not really acquired one, or the style that I had been eyeing since, I got myself this sheer top filled with cut outs in all the right places. I matched it with this pair of denim shorts, which, by the way, is the shortest pair I will ever have in my lifetime. You may think it's not even thaaat short like jean cut-offs but my dad will definitely throw me out of the house if it gets any shorter than this.
I wish I have brown lace up booties, I bet it would look perfect in this outfit. But then, let us try to make do with what we have so instead, I wore this black ankle booties to inject edginess in this courageous Bohemian attempt that actually turned to a modern hippie. LOL! What do you think?
If you will notice, both these sandals and fringed bag had also been worn in this post. It's been a couple of years and I must say, both had served me well and now they are crumbling. I guess I will have to abuse them a little more before I finally lay them to rest.
