The Year That Was 2012 ♥

It's true after all, in the blink of an eye, another year has come to an end and bought forth another glorious year to celebrate and live life at. Honestly, it brought me a lot of firsts, that's for sure. Hence, 2012 is very special to me. There had been challenges thrown at my path, but being with my closest friends, family and with John, I've conquered these every step of the way.

For the first time in 8 years (I think), from High School graduation, my beloved bunch of people and I had finally met again and went out for a brief reunion. Although we were still incomplete during that time, I've got high hopes that we can get to reunite again this year! :)

My first ever Araneta Coliseum Concert! No, not "my concert" lol. But it was my first everrrr so it's unforgettable. Especially that it was one of my favorite-st Rock band of all time: EVANESCENCE! Woooo! I love you Amy Lee!!! She had been the biggest fashion influence during my college days. Yep, I was the class Goth Girl and I'm proud of it!!! Happy as well that I got to watch the concert with John and my best friend Shane, aka my rock/goth sister ♥

This tragic event should definitely be included in the list. I was so depressed when my childhood mall burned down, and is lost forever. I even blogged about it here. :(

The E-mail/SMS Cluster Outing at Tali Beach Batangas! Special for the reason that it was my first time, yet again, to get to Batangas and see for myself, a WHITE BEACH! Hooray for the loser that I have been lol

My first and last cosplay for 2012 at the Ozine Fest. I cosplayed as Msyu from C; The Money of Soul and Possibility Control. Sad that I only got to cosplay once this year, aargh, aging.

                    My brother already graduated from College! I've waited years for this haha XD

The birth of The Fabulous Geek, my humble all-geek slash personal style blog is something I truly celebrate. This blog has opened myself into something I've always loved ever since I was a little girl: FASHION!!! If there was anything I've regretted about it, it would be that I started this blog just recently. I wouldn't say it was too late. Nothing will ever be too late to begin with, especially if your heart is in it.

Another first is the ETC Fashion Flea Market. A first fashion bazaar/event that I've attended. 

One of the firsts that I've gone crazy about, my first International Feature! The Fabulous Geek had been featured Blog of the Week by FashionFreax.net. You can read my interview here. Aaaand! I was on their Facebook Page Banner for an entire week too, together with other featured International bloggers! I felt proudest of this :D

This one's not a first, but a second! John and I's second year anniversary, spent at Tagaytay. It's also our first out of town. ^_^ Looking forward to a greater year with my beloved ♥

And of course! The very recent Christmas Reunion with the Entire Fernando Clan (dad's mother's side). It was my first in three straight years without spending Christmas at the office. Sad huh? lol

There had been a lot of sad things that happened within this year as well, though I really wouldn't wish to post some photos of what took place. I somehow, wanted to forget all the bad things, but of course, I will never forget them. 2012 had been filled with surprises, blessings, challenges for what they were all worth. And I'm still alive, by the way, the December 21 issue was a whole load of crap and I never believed in it. Let us all look forward to all the good things to come, stay strong and united for the next 364 days (it's January 2nd in here already). God bless everyone! ~R.A.
